『アストロボット』がGOTY（ゲーム・オブ・ザ・イヤー）など4冠を受賞。「The Game Awards 2024」まとめ

12月13日にアメリカ・ロサンゼルスで開催された「The Game Awards 2024」にて、ゲーム・オブ・ザ・イヤー（GOTY）および部門別の受賞作品や受賞者が発表された。同イベントにおける2024年のGOTYはTeam ASOBIによる『アストロボット』に決定。同作はBest Game Direction、Best Family Game、Best Action/Adventure Gameも受賞しており、4冠となっている。

またContent Creator of the Yearでは、ホロライブ三期生の兎田ぺこらさんがノミネートされていたものの、受賞はCaseOhさん。PLAYERS’S VOICEでは、『黒神話:悟空』が選ばれた。

「The Game Awards」は、2014年より毎年開催されている、ゲームや関係者を称える祭典だ。その年を代表するゲームがGOTYとして表彰されるほか、各部門賞や新発表の情報も多数公開。昨年の「The Game Awards 2023」においては、『バルダーズ・ゲート3』がGOTYを含む5冠を達成していた。本稿では「The Game Awards 2024」の発表内容のうち、各ノミネート作品と部門賞をまとめて紹介していこう。
