Cygames has acquired the Metal Max IP and is planning a reboot with the original creator
Cygames has announced the acquisition of the Metal Max IP from Kadokawa and Kadokawa Games. The Metal Max series creator Hiroshi Miyaoka is also transferring to Cygames to work as a director.

Lost Epic resumes sales on the PS Store after being delisted due to a pricing error
One or Eight and Team EARTH WARS have resumed sales of the PS4/PS5 version of Lost Epic after correcting its price. The game was released on July 28 but when it became apparent that it was listed on the PlayStation Store at an incorrect price, the game was temporarily delisted.
Japanese folklore inspired shmup KIKURA is coming to Steam on August 20
KIKURA is a retro-style shmup with time slowing and invincibility mechanics combined with a Japanese folklore aesthetic. The game takes place in a parallel world from our own called Utsushiyochigai where yokai and gods reside.

Attacker-chan! is a short 2.5D roguelike action game where cute girls fight out-of-control mechs. Players control the game’s protagonist, the blond-haired, blue-eyed Attacker-chan, and advance through the enemy base, all the while battling rampaging robots and avoiding shots from satellite guns.
