Embracer Group revealed studio acquisitions, including their first Japanese studio, Tatsujin. The Tokyo-based company handles the licenses for classic Toaplan titles like Flying Shark (Sky Shark), Kyukyoku Tiger (Twin Cobra), Zero Wing, and Tatsujin (Truxton).
Sunsoft's Ikki Unite is a new title based on the action-shooting game Ikki, which was first released on arcade in 1985 and later ported to a number of consoles including the Famicom. The game was also known at the time for being deemed a kusoge (crap game) by illustrator Jun Miura.
Sunsoft, the originator of kusoge (Ikki and Atlantis no Nazo), says they’re back and will be announcing upcoming titles on August 18. The company’s own VTuber will also be revealed for the first time and presiding over the occasion.
There are no further plans to add additional characters or balance changes to Dragon Ball FighterZ. While this may sound like the end of development for the game, they also revealed their intention to add rollback netcode to Dragon Ball FighterZ
Inti Creates has announced Grim Guardians: Demon Purge for PC (Steam), Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. Grim Guardians: Demon Purge is a 2D action game starring Gal*Gun’s Kamizono sisters.

Rhythm game Arcaea was available on the Nintendo eShop, but as of now, it has been delisted. According to developer lowiro, the reason is that the game’s rating is being adjusted and was met with an unexpected delay. Arcaea was only delisted from the eShop in Europe and Japan.
