SATSUBATSU SUCCUBUS is a chaotic retro-style FPS where a succubus praises you for massacring angels

SATSUBATSU SUCCUBUS is coming to Steam in Q4 of 2026.

Japanese indie creator Crush-vAdin (also known as Bhaskara) is back with a new old-school-style first-person shooter. Much like their previous works, CULT VS GAL and GAL VS VILLAGE, the upcoming SATSUBATSU SUCCUBUS has you killing hordes of enemies to high-tempo, upbeat music.

SATSUBATSU SUCCUBUS stars an unnamed protagonist who has been cursed by the succubus Lilin Zechthol. Tired of her everyday victims, Lilin forces you to assault an angel facility with an arsenal of weapons and skills.

As you progress through your rampage, Lilin will react differently based on how brutal the violence is. Killing enemies, taking damage, and narrowly evading death are just a few ways you can elicit a reaction from Lilin, who watches over you from the lower right-hand side of the screen during gameplay. Between stages, cutscenes involving a cast of characters help establish the world and Lilin’s deranged personality.

Three weapons have been confirmed: a versatile assault rifle, a quick handgun that comes with a powerful melee attack, and a devastating close-range shotgun.

You can also choose from several unique skills, such as an invincible slide that closes the distance between you and enemies, a triple shot that fires multiple rounds, and a stun pillar that temporarily incapacitates foes. Those who prefer a more traditional shooter experience can turn on No Skill mode, which disables all skills and leaves you with nothing but your guns and the basic dash.

Stages are made up of multiple short combat arenas. All records, including completion time, damage taken, and total score, are tracked separately depending on the weapons, skills, and difficulty you played with (SATSUBATSU SUCCUBUS features four difficulty modes: Easy, Normal, Hard, and ExHard). The game also has support for Steam Leaderboards, letting you compete and compare scores with the most dedicated angel killers on the planet.

SATSUBATSU SUCCUBUS is set to release sometime in the fourth quarter of 2026 for Windows (Steam).
