Daughter-raising sim Volcano Princess to get free “Complete Edition” update on Steam on October 30. Improved localization and new content

Publisher Gamirror Games and developer Egg Hatcher have announced that a major free update for the Steam version of Volcano Princess is set to release on October 30. This update will include all the updates and content included in the game’s “Complete Edition,” which released across PS5, Nintendo Switch, and mobile back in July.

Volcano Princess’s Complete Edition is packed with a wealth of new additions compared to the original 2023 Steam release. The characters are fully voiced, with the Japanese version featuring Mai Nakahara (who has voiced the daughter since the game’s initial launch), and new cast members Marina Inoue and Kent Ito.

The new version also comes with improvements to the game’s English localization and added support for Traditional Chinese. In terms of content, the Complete Edition introducers new story content, additional CGs, and new dungeons to explore.

The Steam update is scheduled to release for free on October 30. There has been no announcement regarding a similar update for the game’s Xbox Series X❘S version at the time of writing.

Volcano Princess is available for PC (Steam), Xbox Series X|S, PS5, Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android.
