DragonSword: Awakening players who want more out of their adventures in Obis can claim the Abyssal Direwolf familiar for free until August 30 at 10 PM UTC. Those who own the base game can claim the DLC on the Steam page and keep it after the free claim period ends.
In addition to making your commutes easier, DragonSword: Awakening’s familiars provide passive bonuses such as elemental stat bonuses and damage over time triggers. The Abyssal Direwolf’s main ability is Boost Jump, which allows you to jump farther when using a Ground Boost. In addition, all your familiars get access to Boost Jump, a 20% reduction in stamina consumption during a Ground Boost, and a 10% extra movement speed boost while on land. Long story short, having this familiar in your party gives you the zoomies.
The Abyssal Direwolf DLC usually costs $7.99 USD but is free to claim until August 30. Once the claim period ends, the DLC will revert to its original price.
