DLsite parent company’s new cloud engine-based service for playing PC titles via mobile launches on August 26

viviON, the parent company DLsite wil launch its new cloud gaming service viviON games on August 26.

viviON, the parent company of the Japanese digital game, doujinshi, and ASMR platform DLsite, has announced that its new cloud gaming service, viviON Games, will officially launch on August 26. First revealed in May, viviON Games allows users to play PC games on their smartphone utilizing the OOParts cloud gaming engine.

The service utilizes OOParts to launch PC games directly on your phone’s browser using dedicated servers. By removing download and setup requirements, it lets players immediately jump into the game of their choosing.

viviON Games was created with the goal of making PC gaming more accessible for players and developers. Busy players will have a way to hop on their favorite PC games anywhere and anytime they have a break. Developers, on the other hand, do not have to worry about porting their titles to viviON Games, as the service was built with PC gaming in mind. Instead of being subscription-based, viviON Game will adopt a one-time purchase model.

viviON Games is currently updating its X account at a rate of one launch title a day until the service officially releases. The first game, announced on August 20, is Daidai’s 2024 adventure horror game, The Aquarium Does Not Dance. A demo version of the service exhibited at this year’s BitSummit PUNCH featured titles like Yomawari: Lost in the Dark, Seifuku Kanojo, KemonoMix Re, One Way Heroics Plus, Terminus Historia, Return to Shironagasu Island, and The Clingy Ghost, though it is not yet confirmed whether these titles would be included in the final release.

viviON Games launches on August 26. You can find out more about the service and its lineup of games on the official X account.
