A Discord server in Japan looking to facilitate matches for Valorant and Apex Legends players was suddenly deleted. The server’s name contained the Japanese word “合コン(goukon)” which is a kind of party for singles to meet and find dates. Perhaps due to its sensational name, the server was even trending on Twitter in Japan.
Splatoon 3's first Splatfest since launching has now come to a close. Along with the results, the weapons used by the top-ranking players, notably the Sloshing Machine and Splash-o-matic, have also been garnering attention.
Splatoon 3: "Cheater" went trending on Twitter in Japan as infinite special weapons shots torment players. On social media there is a report of a player who has used the Tenta Missiles special weapon 87 times in a single match.

The Idolmaster Cinderella Girls mascot Pinya Korata is getting a $1,200 ceramic statue (bizen ware statue). Only 15 of these statues will be produced and they will be available for 165,000 yen (roughly $1,170) each.
Japan's Kyushu University has released over 1,400 digital 3D biological specimens. The majority of the models fall under the CC BY 4.0 license, meaning it is possible for anyone to download and use them. A large percentage of the newly released models are of aquatic life, but there is still a diverse range of insects and plants.
Kemco has announced Zombie of the Dot, a new RPG being planned and supervised by game creator Jiro Ishii and developed by Hit-Point. Zombie of the Dot looks to focus more on the dramatic aspect of zombie-related works like the human drama between survivors.
Armed Fantasia is a Westernpunk RPG that combines the aesthetic of the American West with magic, monsters called Anomalies, and long-lost cultures. Development for Armed Fantasia is being led by Wild Arms game designer and scenario writer Akifumi Kaneko.
