Lockers become available once players reach Rank 4 in Splatoon 3, and players are free to customize them with all sorts of stickers and items. Items for decorating lockers can be found in Hero Mode or purchased from the Hotlantis store. Some players even seem to be jumping into Turf War and Salmon Run matches just to get money for more locker items. Though just an extra feature, lockers are well connected to the core gameplay of Splatoon 3.

Additionally, the lineup of items at Hotlantis are rotated daily, so there are surely players checking in every day to see what’s available.

Players are putting together a variety of locker styles. Some are making shrines to their favorite weapons and gear while others are putting together cute lockers with a lineup of squid cushions. Splatoon’s design is rooted in street culture, but because of the creativity of players, we can see a wide range of variation in designs.

I reached Rank 30 in Splatoon 3 and got the biggest locker size. The squid are cute, so I have 3 of them lol. I was sure you got a Super Sea Snail for reaching level 30, but I didn’t get one. Do you get it from a Splatfest or something?

Splatoon 3 is a game about decorating your own locker.

Players are also putting together humorous lockers and many of them seem to make use of Moai statues. They’re being used in all sorts of ways from giving them hats and sunglasses to making them kiss Zapfish. Players are also using the bronze statue that’s modeled after Rodin’s The Thinker in similar ways.

One player has even recreated Pathfinder from Apex Legends in their locker. In a similar vein, another player combined and overlapped stickers to make a collage that looks like Crypto from Apex Legends standing in their locker.

All sorts of locker customization ideas are being posted to social media and they’ve likely inspired others to put together their own lockers. If you don’t feel confident in your design abilities, how about checking out some of the wonderful ideas going around and trying to make one that speaks to your own tastes?

Some players even started putting together real-life miniature lockers when the game was released, one of them complete with a Moai statue.
