Qureate, developers of Bunny Garden, announce new Prison Princess game

Qureate, developers of “gentlemen’s games” such as Maid of the Dead, Bunny Garden, and the NinNinDays franchise recently announced that they are working on a new Prison Princess title. While details regarding the upcoming title are scarce, Qureate says that the game will be released sometime in 2024.

Post translation: “Sorry for the long wait! We will be announcing a new game title soon ♪ Please wait with excitement and anticipation”

The image included in the social media post features Prison Princess protagonists Aria and Zena standing in front of what looks to be a prison castle. The text below roughly translates to “Dear gentlemen, stay tuned! New Princess series title to launch in 2024!”

The original Prison Princess is a puzzle game available on the Nintendo Switch and PC (Steam) where you take on the role of a disembodied spirit. Having died at the hands of the evil Demon King, it is your mission to help the princesses Aria (a ditzy magician) and Zena (a tsundere warrior) escape the Demon King’s castle. While most of the challenges can be easily solved, there are a few headscratchers that will test your puzzle-solving skills.

Though saving Aria and Zena would be typically be enough of a recompense, Prison Princess sweetens the deal by rewarding players with sexy moments featuring the two princesses. While there are numerous panty shots and suggestive poses, Prison Princess doesn’t showcase full-on nudity. There are also five different endings to work towards, giving the game some replay value. If the original game is any indication, expect the upcoming Prison Princess entry to have just as many puzzles and moments where the princesses distract you.
