Monolith Soft announces Xenoblade Genesis for 2027

During the June 9 Nintendo Direct, Nintendo and Monolith Soft announced Xenoblade Genesis, a brand new entry in the series slated for launch in 2027 on the Switch 2.

During the June 9 Nintendo Direct, Nintendo and Monolith Soft announced Xenoblade Genesis, a brand new entry in the series slated for launch in 2027 on the Switch 2.

As showcased in the early reveal trailer, the title centers on a world ruled by power known as Anima and the Vesselai – warriors who can wield Anima and fight wars with it. The story appears to follow students of an academy called Leukos, training to become Vesselai.

Xenoblade Genesis is schedule to launch in 2027. Additionally, enhanced Switch 2 editions of Xenoblade Chronicles 1-3 have been announced.
