Seven years into its life cycle, Dead or Alive Xtreme Venus Vacation once again proves its status as one of Japan’s top-selling gacha games. While the October 15 list of Steam’s Top Selling Games in Japan includes both newcomers (Battlefield 6, Digimon Story: Time Stranger) and mainstays (Counter-Strike 2, Apex Legends), Dead or Alive Xtreme Venus Vacation jumped a whopping 50 places up, making it the eighth top-selling game on the platform that morning (as spotted by GameBiz).
This jump in popularity and sales coincides with several in-game events, chief of which is Dead or Alive Xtreme Venus Vacation’s 6.5-year anniversary, which includes up to 70 free gacha draws. In addition, several outfit banners, including a swimsuit for Luna’s birthday celebration, are currently ongoing.

While 70 free draws may seem like a lot, Dead or Alive Xtreme Venus Vacation events often overlap with each other. In order to get the items that they want, players must either properly allocate in-game resources or pay for them with real money. With so many new and returning outfits to choose from during the anniversary celebration, it looks like players are willing to spend on their favorite DOA girls.
