Persona 5 graphic designer LAM announces DemVAMPS, an original short anime project about a vampire war

At the center of the war are Lavinia, a mysterious vampire girl who covets the vampire throne, and Yo, a young boy who becomes her thrall.

LAM, a freelance Japanese illustrator and former Atlus developer known for his work on games like Persona 5 (UI designer and graphic designer) and Fate/Grand Order (concept art), has announced a new short anime project titled DemVAMPS. The series depicts a war in which vampires from around the world fight for the now-vacant vampire throne. At the center of the war are Lavinia, a mysterious vampire girl who wants the throne for herself, and Yo, a young boy who becomes her thrall.

Saori Onishi (Mejiro McQueen in Umamusume: Pretty Derby) will be providing the Japanese voice of Lavinia, while Makoto Koichi (Nurugai in Hell’s Paradise: Jigokuraku) will be playing Yo. The announcement video song, “VAMPY,” is sung by female VTuber duo HIMEHINA.

The story of DemVAMPS will be told through irregularly updated anime shorts, with LAM serving as original creator, screenwriter, character designer, and chief animation director. HEVN STAGE, a newly established animation studio, will be overseeing the animation production.

More info on DemVAMPS and its character can be found on the series’ official webpage and X account.
