Pokémon Unite’s official Twitter account announced that they’ll perform a balance patch on October 8 at 12 am PT. The patch focuses on adjusting the new Pokémon Sylveon’s moves.

Sylveon was added to the roster just a few days ago on October 5 (PT). Sylveon is an attacker that excels at attacking enemies from afar and is known for its high firepower. However, it seems like the dev made some of the moves a bit too strong. In the incoming patch, both Hyper Voice and Mystical Fire will be nerfed.

Reddit community /r/PokemonUnite has a megathread dedicated to Sylveon, and users there are debating whether Sylveon is OP or not. Some users seem to agree that the new Pokémon is indeed in need of a nerf.

Recently, Sylveon was subject to a duplication bug that caused the Pokémon to multiply itself on the Pokémon list page.
