Neil’s watch in Death Stranding 2: On the Beach to be made into real timepiece by Hamilton and Kojima Productions

Kojima Productions and Hamilton reveal collaboration timepiece inspired by Niel's watch in Death Stranding 2: On the Beach.

Following the release of the Death Stranding 2: On the Beach pre-order trailer, Kojima Productions and Swiss watch manufacturer Hamilton announced a limited-edition piece based on the one worn by Solid Snake look-alike Neil in the game. Costing a whopping CHF 1,395.00 (roughly $1587.66 USD), the watch is set to release on June 26, 2025 – the same date that the Kojima Productions game is set to launch.

Officially titled the “American Classic Boulton Death Stranding 2 Limited Edition,” the automatic watch measures 36mm x 48mm in its black titanium PVD case (it also has a thickness of 13.7mm). The hour and minute hands are dark grey loops, while the second hand is a solid orange line. The glass protecting the watch features seven Sapphire crystals, while the bracelet is made of titanium with a width of 28.5mm. The watch has an 80-hour power reserve and a three-hand automatic movement with 25 jewels. It also has a water resistance of 50m.

As far as game-based merchandise goes, the Death Stranding 2 watch is quite subtle. Thanks to the input of artist Yoji Shinkawa, the only two things that give it away are the Death Stranding 2: On the Beach logo on the case back (which others can’t see when you’re wearing it) and the fact that Neil constantly flicks his own timepiece in the game (which some fans might recognize).

The American Classic Boulton Death Stranding 2 Limited Edition is limited to only 2,000 pieces worldwide but considering its price, hopefully the real-life version works better than the one Neil has to repeatedly hit in the game.

Death Stranding 2: On the Beach is set to release on PlayStation 5 in June 26.
