Following a successful 3.5 anniversary celebration, Goddess of Victory: Nikke has amassed over $1.3 billion USD in global cumulative revenue (source: Inven). According to data compiled by Sensor Tower released on May 15, Japanese players account for the majority of the game’s revenue at a staggering 48.3%. This is followed by South Korea at 19% and the U.S.A. at 17.3%.
With over 20 million cumulative downloads worldwide, Nikke was ranked first in both the Google Play Store and Apple’s App Store for five consecutive days in Japan (April 30 to May 4). It held the top spot in the same mobile stores in Korea for a total of seven days (April 23 – 26, April 28 – 30), which is the first time Nikke maintained the position for an extended period since its launch in 2022.
In addition to in-game rewards and content, it seems advertising campaigns across the world have also been successful in drawing more players. Japan, for instance, saw multiple Nikke offline advertisements in the popular Shibuya Scramble Crossing (the game was also ranked second in total mobile game brand ad impressions on April 25). A Nikke promotional video was broadcast on South Korea’s Namsan Seoul Tower, whereas a “Global Commander Cheering Campaign” video was unveiled in New York’s Times Square in the United States. Traffic to the official Nikke homepage also reached year-high numbers thanks to the ongoing character popularity contest.

Nikke’s initial daily revenue growth rate saw a dramatic increase of 140% upon the start of its 3.5 in-game anniversary event and the introduction of the highly anticipated over-spec Nikke, Anis: Star on April 23. While the percentage was lower compared to past anniversary events, the release of the over-spec Nikke, Neon: Vision Eye, the following week saw daily revenue increase to approximately double the amount seen during the event’s start date. The game currently ranks 18th in cumulative revenue rankings for all anime-styled gacha games.
