The schedule for RTA in Japan Winter 2022 has been released. RTA in Japan is a biannual speedrunning event that was first held in 2016. The upcoming winter event will run for six days, from December 26 to 31 (JST), and will include 80 speedruns.
PLAYISM has announced that 7 Days to End with You from Lizardry is coming to the Nintendo Switch this winter (Q1 2023). 7 Days to End with You is a puzzle novel game about deciphering and interpreting a language you don’t understand.
Fighting game player Shunya Hatakeyama announced that sex toy maker TENGA has provided him with some products. Hatakeyama suffers from muscular dystrophy and uses a TENGA toy to add cushioning to his homemade chin controller. After hearing about this, TENGA decided to supply him with additional products.

Entergram has announced a console version of the mobile game Yuki Yuna is a Hero: Hanayui no Kirameki, just as things were drawing to a close for the original version. The console version of the game is expected to include additional story content as well as an illustration gallery.
Steam demo for Meg’s Monster is now available on Steam. Meg’s Monster is an adventure RPG that tells the story of a young girl who possesses a mysterious power: if she cries, the world will be destroyed. The protagonist, an ogre named Roy, must protect Meg and keep her from crying.
Gremory has released a teaser site for Taimanin GOGO! the latest title in the Taimanin series. The game is scheduled to release this fall for iOS and Android.
Japan: Kagawa Prefecture’s limit on gaming time for children ruled to not be in violation of human rights. In 2020, Kagawa Prefecture enacted an ordinance that restricted the time that games could be played by those under the age of 18, although there are no penalties for those who break the rules.
