PlayStation steps away from Hideo Kojima publishing deal, new stealth action game PHYSINT to release on Xbox instead

XBOX announced that it would take over the publishing rights for Hideo Kojima's upcoming stealth action game PHYSINT.

On September 10, KOJIMA PRODUCTIONS announced that it has expanded its partnership with Xbox regarding the publishing of the studio’s upcoming stealth action game tentatively titled PHYSINT. The game was originally set to be published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. However, in a recent announcement, the company clarified that it would step away from the collaboration. This means that the game will likely become an Xbox exclusive, much like the studio’s upcoming horror title OD.

“This expands our relationship with XBOX beyond OD. As we move forward with the development of PHYSINT, we remain committed to redefining the action-espionage genre for players around the world,” Kojima commented.
