After a successful launch on April 29, urban open-world RPG Neverness to Everness (NTE)’s first-day sales exceeded 100 million Chinese Yuan (roughly $14.8 million USD at the time), with its first-month global revenue surpassed domestic performance. Following this string of victories, publisher Perfect World Games has announced that the game surpassed 1.4 billion Chinese Yuan ($207 million USD) as of June 30. The announcement was made on July 14, during the company’s interim earnings forecast for the first half of 2026 (source: China Economic).
According to the report, more than 60% of NTE’s revenue came from PC and Android players. When it comes to other platforms, the game placed in the top 5 highest grossing iOS apps multiple times both domestically and globally, and has also topped the PlayStation Store charts in countries such as Japan.

While things are going well for NTE, Perfect World Games expects a discrepancy between its expenses in preparation for the game’s launch and the revenue it earns for the first half of the fiscal year. This is due to the intensive marketing done in April, around the time of the global open beta. The publisher expects a net loss for the first half of the fiscal year ranging from 80 million to 120 million Chinese Yuan ($12 million to 18 million USD) due to this timing mismatch, but profits from NTE are expected to start being reflected from the third quarter onwards.
It’s worth noting that NTE’s current generated revenue of 1.4 billion Chinese Yuan counts for about 25% of Perfect World Games’ total revenue for its gaming division for the fiscal year ending in 2025, which was roughly 5.71 billion Chinese Yuan ($844 million USD). While the game’s generated revenue could diminish over time, its current performance shows just how lucrative it has been for the Chinese company.
Neverness to Everness is available on Android, iOS, PlayStation 5, as well as Windows and macOS (downloadable from the official website).
