During the PlayStation State of Play on September 3, Japanese developer Type Moon Studio BB and publisher Aniplex announced that Fate/Extra record would launch on January 28. Alongside the announcement, they also unveiled a brand-new trailer for the game.
Fate/Extra Record is a remake of Type-Moon’s dungeon crawler RPG Fate/Extra, which released for PlayStation Portable in 2010. The game was announced in 2020 and originally scheduled to launch in 2025. After a couple of delays, and Bandai Namco Entertainment pulling out of the distribution deal, Fate/Extra Record announced that it would get Aniplex as its new publisher. With Aniplex on board, it seems like the game will finally get its long-awaited release on January 28.
