Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves’ first playable demo announced for EVO 2024
SNK Corporation has officially announced its participation at EVO 2024, which is scheduled to be held from July 19 to 21 in Las Vegas, Nevada. SNK’s booth will feature the first playable demo for the developer’s upcoming fighting game Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves.
Final Fury: City of the Wolves, the first new entry in the Fatal Fury series in 26 years, is currently scheduled to launch in the first half of 2025 for PC, PS5/PS4 and Xbox Series X|S. While inheriting many mechanics from past titles, CotW will introduce the new REV System, which allows you to drive the opponent into an Overheat state using special REV attacks. EVO 2024 attendees will be able to try out this new REV System, as well as two different control schemes (for casual players and veterans respectively) in a 15-minute hands-on demo of Final Fury: CotW.
SNK has published a guide to familiarize players with the game’s battle systems and commands beforehand. It can be accessed via the official homepage.
In addition, SNK has announced a developers’ panel discussion on July 19 for both Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves and The King of Fighters XV, during which development progress and the upcoming DLC will be discussed. The panel will be streamed online for those who can’t make it to EVO. Exact times will be announced later.
