Shin Megami Tensei V is getting FOV options in a future patch, according to the recent announcement made by Atlus. To be more specific, you’ll be able to adjust the field of view for the exploration segments of the game. Brightness options will be added as well.

Aside from these additions, gimmick adjustments will be made to the Demon King’s Castle: 3rd Stratum area. That’s the area filled with wind-blowing devices. The patch notes mention that they are reducing the number of gimmicks involving consecutive jumps, which are set right after the 3rd Stratum Stairs Leyline Fount. It seems like the most platform puzzle-heavy section of the game will be simplified a little. Other minor bug fixes are also on the way.

Shin Megami Tensei V launched on November 12 for the Nintendo Switch, and this is the first patch coming out post launch. The schedule for the patch rollout has yet to be announced.
