Anime figure and model kit maker Kotobukiya opens official US online store

Good news for game/anime figure and model kit collectors stateside- Kotobukiya now has an official online storefront in the US.

Major Japanese figure and plastic model kit manufacturer Kotobukiya opened an official online storefront in the US this week.  

Kotobukiya was founded in 1953 and started out as a toy and doll manufacturer, before later becoming known for making licensed figures for various anime and video game series. Over the years, they have released wide range of figures, including those for NieR, Death Stranding, Front Mission, Armored Core and many more. They are also well-known for their model kits, particularly the Frame Arms and Hexa Gear series. 

Kotobukiya already has an online store in Japan, however it doesn’t offer international shipping, meaning fans outside Japan have to rely on third-party shopping services. Kotobukiya’s US storefront will make it easier for figure and plastic model enthusiasts stateside to add to their collections.
