Winnie-the-Pooh gets a psychological horror kemonomimi girl reimagining in visual novel Honey Distortion, based on A. A. Milne’s original stories
A demo is available on Steam.

If you found A. A. Milne’s original Winnie-the-Pooh stories to be on the childish side, then perhaps WINNIE-THE-POOH: Honey Distortion might be more suitable to your mature palate. Developed by indie developer Ignis Sanat, the upcoming mystery visual novel reimagines the classic characters as kemonomimi girls and lets you interact with them as Christopher Robin.
In Honey Distortion, you explore the Hundred Acre Wood, the city, and Christopher Robin’s home. You can pick up items and interact with characters using point-and-click controls, as well as engage in conversations that influence the events of the story.

While most of the narrative is kept under wraps, Steam page images point toward the game’s mature themes. Piglet – who in this world is an anthropomorphic girl sporting pigtails and a pink sweater – can be seen brandishing a firearm, while Rabbit is depicted wearing a bunny girl suit. The story has multiple endings, with Christopher Robin’s fate in your hands.
WINNIE-THE-POOH: Honey Distortion is set to release in the first quarter of 2027 for Windows (Steam). A free demo is available for Windows, macOS, SteamOS, and Linux.
