Mystery suspense visual novel ESTELLA – The Sin of Time – gets Steam demo. A story of heroines “drawn toward the darkest of fates”
The demo is available in English.

Estella Productions released a Steam demo for its upcoming multiple-perspective suspense visual novel ESTELLA – The Sin of Time – on October 29, a date that happens to be relevant to the game’s story.
The events of ESTELLA – The Sin of Time – take place during the three days leading up to Halloween, a night when “the boundary between day and night dissolves.” The story follows multiple female protagonists from different walks of life. As you switch between them, you discover scattered clues that gradually reveal the truth about how their lives are interconnected. Six heroines are confirmed to be featured in the demo, with more in the final game.

Kikyo Kanna is a young noble who is an exemplary student but distances herself from others. Aizawa Mio is a steward to Kikyo who serves as her maid while attending school. Hiiragi Nadeshiko, Saegusa Karen, and Nanase Mizuka are popular high school students and members of the idol group Himamell, each with their own unique personalities and histories. Lastly, Veronica Stoyanov is a mysterious woman who is an expert with firearms and knives.
The girls’ stories interconnect at different points in the narrative. The choices you make as each character affect future events. One small decision could end up saving one character or, conversely, set an unforeseen tragedy in motion. Experiencing the story from different perspectives allows you to understand the bigger picture and uncover the truth behind the interconnected protagonists. At the end of it all, you’ll discover if your choices lead to the characters’ salvation or the unforgivable “Sin of Time.”

The demo offers an estimated playtime of 1 to 2 hours and supports Japanese and English, as well as Simplified and Traditional Chinese. It also features controller support. According to the developers, player feedback from the demo will be used to improve the game’s development. The developers warn that the game depicts violence and psychologically intense scenes.
ESTELLA – The Sin of Time – is set to release in 2027 for Windows and macOS (Steam), iOS, and Android. A free demo is available on Steam.
