Currently in development by multimedia creator Comet Moth, Rabbit Circle is a psychological horror game whose story follows a group of runaway girls. The heroines, through their shared loneliness, find solace in each other, but are eventually forced to face the physical manifestations of their trauma.

Rabbit Circle’s protagonist is Alexia, a lonely girl who was brought to an abandoned church by her school clubmates against her will. Eventually, she warms up to the idea that the church serves as a better home than her own. With no unpleasant adults around, the group continue their club activities, which revolve around a stuffed toy rabbit that they call their “Prophet.” As Alexia slowly finds happiness and learns more about her friends, she discovers that each of them carries a similar kind of loneliness, further strengthening their bond as a makeshift family.

Unfortunately, not everything is as it seems, and you soon find yourself exploring the manifested traumas of each girl. Death is a common occurrence in Rabbit Circle, with the core goal having you replay it multiple times to change the ending and save as many people as you can.
With an approximate playtime of two hours, Rabbit Circle’s hand-drawn pastel aesthetic, surreal collage environments, and deep (albeit depressing) story, are the stars of the show. According to the developers, the English version of the game will release simultaneously with the Japanese version.
Rabbit Circle is currently in development for Windows and macOS (Steam).
