In the horror RPG Money Under the Bed, you get a heap of free cash, but spending it causes strange things to happen. Steam demo out now

Money Under the Bed is an indie horror game set to release in 2027 on Steam.

Money Under the Bed puts a dark twist on the age-old question “What would you do if you were handed a bunch of money?” Developed and published by indie creator 011NINE, the upcoming psychological horror RPG recently got a free demo for Windows (Steam).

After complaining about your money troubles to a strange roadside statue, you awake to find a jar of coins under your bed. How you decide to use your newfound funds changes the story and which of the five endings you will get. You can spend the money on snacks, ask your friends for advice on what to do with it (each friend has their own opinion on the matter), or forgo spending it entirely.

Each time you spend the money, the apartment you live in starts to change. The building becomes darker and more decrepit, weird structures like giant hands holding playing cards start popping up, and strange residents replace familiar neighbors. Amidst these moral dilemmas and supernatural changes (which give the game some serious Silent Hill vibes), you power through in search of the money’s rightful owner.

Money Under the Bed is set to release in 2027. A free demo is available now for Windows (Steam).
