Game developer Aggressive Mastery released Giantess Playground, a city destruction sandbox game, in Early Access on Steam on August 14. However, creator GiantessGameUE5 claims that the game was released without their permission, and is now seeking to resolve the issue through legal means.
Giantess Playground is a 3D sandbox game in which you take on the role of a ginormous woman and freely walk around a city, destroying buildings, cars, and everything else that stands in your way. Other than the free-form Sandbox Mode which lets you trample people as you please with no limits, the game offers a Hide and Seek mode, where you assume the role of a civilian running away from the giantess, and the Rampage Mode, which challenges you to destroy as many things as possible before the time runs out.

The title was first released in 2022, exclusively on GiantessGameUE5’s Patreon page. While it began as a solo project, Giantess Playground became a joint undertaking between GiantessGameUE5 and Aggressive Mastery starting in 2025. In July of the same year, Aggressive Mastery launched the game in Early Access on Epic Games, and the problematic Steam page followed a year later.
According to GiantessGameUE5, they independently designed and developed the game, while Aggressive Mastery’s involvement was only limited to assisting with a certain plugin and related visual effects. Back in December 2024, it was announced that Micah Berninghausen from Aggressive Mastery would be joining in to support the development, and several months later, the Epic Games Early Access was launched with mutual agreement from both parties.
However, in June this year, GiantessGameUE5 made a lengthy post on their Patreon, claiming that they had been removed from the developer side of the project after a dispute regarding the game’s release strategy and revenue sharing. Two months later, the creator made another update on the situation, citing issues such as Aggressive Mastery taking full control of the Epic Games Store page, withholding revenue, and unilaterally publishing the Steam Store page. Apparently, GiantessGameUE5 has already started legal action against Aggressive Mastery, however, they state that the other party had completely disregarded the lawyer’s letter and released the game on Steam, taking all revenue in the process.
As of writing this article, Aggressive Mastery hasn’t made any public statements regarding GiantessGameUE5’s accusations. The title’s Steam review score is currently Negative, as players have been review bombing the page after the recent situation came to light. Considering that the outcome of GiantessGameUE5’s legal action is likely going to impact the game’s official release, we will be keeping an eye on future developments.
