Red Dead Redemption 2 voice actor Roger Clark expresses interest in working with Hideo Kojima

Hideo Kojima’s status as a well-known game designer and pioneer of the strange has garnered him attention from people in different fields, the latest of whom is Irish-American actor Roger Clark. Best known for portraying Arthur Morgan in Rockstar Games’s Red Dead Redemption 2, Clark expressed his desire to work with Kojima via social media site X, after which Kojima replied in kind:

To be fair, combining a folding hands and heart hands emoji barely constitutes a reply. Nevertheless, Kojima’s comment on Clark’s post shows that the game designer has taken note of the actor’s interest in collaborating with him.

Clark has since responded to Kojima’s emoji reply, saying that he was happy just to know that Kojima saw his post. He then lauded Kojima for single-handedly changing the video game industry.

Hideo Kojima OD

Kojima has previously met with famous actors like Keanu Reeves and is currently working with filmmaker Jordan Peele on his next game OD. Considering most of Kojima’s recent endeavors feature movie-like scenes with well-acted characters, Roger Clark could fit into something similar. Having Arthur Morgan sneak around using a cardboard box or deliver packages across an apocalyptic United States might not be what people have in mind when it comes to such a collaboration, but whatever Kojima comes up with would likely be just as strange.
