Needy Streamer Overload creator’s new visual novel Sister Other Paranoia gets August 15 launch date

nyalra's new game company HazeDenki has announced that the dark visual novel Sister Other Paranoia will launch on August 15.

HazeDenki has announced that its debut visual novel, Sister Other Paranoia, is set to release for Windows and macOS via Steam on August 15 at 3 AM UTC.

The game was developed by HazeDenki CEO and Needy Streamer Overload creator nyalra, alongside programmer and studio co-founder HAYAO. Several former Needy Streamer artists are also involved in the project, including character designer Ohisashiburi, composer Aiobahn +81, and UI designer Maruino. The story follows a gloomy light novel writer who, due to his ability to read minds, becomes withdrawn from society and finds comfort in his younger sister, resulting in an unhealthy co-dependency.

First announced in December 2025, Sister Other Paranoia garnered over 10,000 Steam wishlists on its first day. While some would say that its dark and depressing themes are similar to those found in Needy Streamer Overload, nyalra promises that his new game will be far more grotesque and personal now what he’s his own boss. He has described the game as a project where he could “just do what I (he) wanted with my (his) own writing, regardless of sales.”

The release date comes a few weeks after HazeDenki announced its partnership with Serenity Forge, a Colorado-based company that will publish the game globally. With roughly a month left until release, fans better brace themselves for Nyalra’s brand of tragic storytelling.

Sister Other Paranoia is set to release on August 15 for Windows and macOS (Steam).
