HazeDenki, the new game company founded by Needy Streamer Overload creator nyalra, has finally found a US publisher for its upcoming supernatural “little sister” visual novel, Sister Other Paranoia. Serenity Forge, based in Boulder, Colorado, made the announcement on June 17 alongside a new trailer.
While nyalra is still hard at work on the anime adaptation of his previous title, he assures fans that development on Sister Other Paranoia is progressing. He plans to share more information about Sister Other Paranoia “all at once” by the end of June, when the Needy Girl Overdose anime’s final episode airs. nyalra will also talk more about the game at this year’s Anime Expo at the Los Angeles Convention Center in California, USA.
As the first of two titles currently being developed by HazeDenki, Sister Other Paranoia follows an unnamed light novel writer who, due to his extreme sensitivity to other people’s emotions, develops the ability to read minds. After winning an upcoming writer’s award, the jealous thoughts of those around him drive him deeper into seclusion and distrust.
His only source of comfort lies in his white-haired younger sister. While the protagonist spends most of his time around the negative thoughts of others, he is always greeted warmly by his sister at the end of each day. With the two of them relying on each other, they slowly develop an unhealthy codependency where one cannot live without the other.

Aside from being able to read negative thoughts, the protagonist can also use his ability to drive people to suicide. While there is still no confirmation of multiple endings, the game’s subject matter makes it difficult to envision a happy conclusion. Considering Sister Other Paranoia’s official X account is filled with cryptic messages from the protagonist’s “sister,” fans will be glad to have some concrete details about the game.
Sister Other Paranoia is set to release sometime in 2026 for Windows and macOS (Steam).
