Guilty Gear and BlazBlue series developer Arc System Works is set to appear at Los Angeles’s Anime Expo 2026. Ahead of the convention, a post by Anime Expo’s official X account has hinted that the developer may have big news in store.
The Arc System Works Developer Panel will be held on July 4 (Day 3 of Anime Expo), attended by Guilty Gear Strive producer Ken Miyauchi, Demons’ Night Fever producer Sohei Niikawa, and game designer and director Satoshi Hirayae.
According to the announcement, the developers will deliver “updates and dev insights on Guilty Gear -Strive-, Demons’ Night Fever, and a new unannounced anime-style title.” It seems Satoshi Hirayae’s name is attached to this unknown project. Hirayae is credited as the director of FuRyu and Aquria’s popular JRPG Crymachina as well as Sword Art Online: Last Recollection.
