Gothic psychological horror otome game Channel 453 features mysterious men who talk to you from inside your TV

Channel 453 is coming soon to Steam, with a demo currently available.

Developed by indie creator Bulhwa, Channel 453 is an upcoming dark otome game coming to Steam.

In Channel 453, you assume the role of the heroine who, upon moving into a new home, tunes into the titular channel on her TV, only to be greeted by the mysterious man Liotte. From inside the television, Liotte can see you and speak to you, and he behaves as if he had been waiting for your arrival.

Gameplay unfolds in a one-on-one, interactive visual novel format, with the player’s own existence being acknowledged by the male leads in a meta-narrative twist. The story promises a psychological horror tone, exploring the themes of trust, anxiety, obsession, and the meaning of “true love.” The developers also warn about the occasional jump scare.

With a playtime of about 60 to 90 minutes, Channel 453 offers three different endings. This upcoming release is an expanded remake of a game jam project of the same name originally launched on itch.io.

Channel 453 is coming soon to Steam. A free demo is also available, offering about 30 minutes of gameplay.
