In celebration of Father’s Day, Capcom will be streaming a commemorative Pragmata event on its official Japanese YouTube channel. Rather than taking place on Father’s Day itself (June 21), the event will be held on June 18, Thursday, airing from 7 PM (JST). Miou Tanaka and Nao Toyama, the Japanese voice actors of Hugh Williams and Diana respectively, will appear as special guests, with game director Yong-hee Cho and producer Naoto Oyama also scheduled to make an appearance.
As Capcom’s newest IP, Pragmata sold over 2 million copies worldwide just 16 days after its April 17 worldwide launch. While that milestone has come and gone, the fact that the game stars a found-family father-daughter duo makes this the perfect time to celebrate its success.
For those who happen to be in Japan from June 15-21, select Capcom Stores and electronics retailers will be handing out a Pragmata-themed postcard as part of the Father’s Day: ‘Thank You from Diana’ Campaign. You’ll have to buy at least 2,000 JPY ($12.5 USD) worth of products at a participating Capcom Store or a product from a game section checkout at a participating electronics store to get the complimentary postcard.

Pragmata is available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Windows (Steam), and Nintendo Switch 2.
