Palworld: This horny Pal is a menace to society but very useful for your base 

 
Lovander is quickly becoming one of Palworld’s most controversial Pals. Lovanders are very useful for doing tasks around the base, but their nature is…questionable, to say the least, which makes some players very hesitant to keep them around. 

Lovander is a Neutral element Pal, registered under Paldeck no. 69. They are characterized by their pink color palette and heart shaped designs on the chest and crotch area. Probably some kind of salamander man, the Lovander stands tall and slim, with pronounced, muscular thighs. According to the Paldeck, Lovanders are “always chasing someone around” for a “night of love,” in other words, sexually. Furthermore, the entry states that the species has developed a sexual appetite not only for Pals, but for humans too. The Palworld trailers show Lovanders lecherously chasing around very unwilling-looking Pals. 

Content creator @jifferey’s post addressing their questionable behavior recently went viral, as he expressed the moral dilemma of needing Lovanders for their efficient work but not wanting a “pink lizard r***st” in his base. In Palworld, Lovanders raid bases like “a horde of fangirls.” This, combined with their uninhibited carnal desires, makes them the definition of a menace to society. On the other hand, if you capture a Lovander, it can make a big difference for your base, as the species has level 2 work suitability for Handiwork, Medicine Production and Transport – hence the dilemma. 

Of course, there is no shortage of people who have been successfully thirstrapped by the Lovander. Certain players have been voicing the desire for “certain deeds” to be possible between Pals and humans for a while, and Lovander is probably the closest they’re ever going to get to that. Although, it’s important to note that the whole “lusting for humans” thing is only a part of Lovander lore, and does not actually happen in-game. They also do not actively chase down other Pals as depicted in trailers either. 

But then again, Lovanders are sexy-coded in basically everything they do, as users have noticed how a Lovander sensually covers its body with its arms and tail when entering hot springs, how it swings its hips left and right while walking and similar. This has contributed to a lot of fanart from users worldwide. As an aside, the suggestive Paldeck number “69” was not an accident either. Lovander was originally registered under number 49, but this was changed after a user suggested 69, to which the Palworld official account said, “that’s not a bad idea.” 

Palworld is available for the PC (Steam), Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
