Spinning cone-man machos clash against each other in upcoming Japanese 3D arena fighter

Japanese indie developer NEOLAVI revealed the first teaser for their 3D arena fighter game MACHO SPINNER on November 9. The game is planned for release for the PC (Steam) and will be available in English.

Macho Spinner is a 1-on-1 fighter game that takes place in the year XXXX. Society has been transformed by the advancement of humans and technology. Men who have trained their bodies can now spin at high speeds by modifying their lower bodies to be of conical shape. These men clash against each other in spinning muscle battles which are said to define all reason, aiming to become champions in the annual “Macho Spinner Cup.”

In Macho Spinner, macho characters with toy top-shaped bodies face each other one-on-one, aiming to drive the opponents off the field. In principle, the fighting is done by crashing your macho’s body against your opponent’s. The game also includes the element of cheers. By sending your macho warrior various cheers such as “Your biceps could calm down a crying baby!”, you can boost his morale and improve his performance.

By competing, you can earn “Macho Coins,” which can be used to purchase skins, poses, and accessories at the store. The items allow you to customize your macho to your liking and make him “more powerful and charismatic.” The items also influence the macho’s fighting abilities so their compatibility should be considered as well. The game will include both multiplayer and ranked battles.

The developer of Macho Spinner is Japanese indie developer NEOLAVI, who have previously released the roguelike action game SAMURAI Survivor -Undefeated Blade- and the idle clicker YGGDRASILL. The are currently developing the multiplayer action game Slime Crumb Scrum along with Macho Spinner.

Macho Spinner is scheduled for release for the PC (Steam) in 2023.
