Following the reveal of Drunken Goddess Reflux at this year’s INDIE Live Expo on April 25, developer and publisher Alliance Arts has announced that the game has amassed over 200,000 Steam Wishlists. The announcement was made through the game’s official X account, which looks like it is being run by the demon of alcohol herself, Femme Soule.
Set in Hell’s own Pandemonium Bar, Drunken Goddess Reflux has you playing a dangerous drinking game against Femme Soule, where the person (or demon) who vomits their soul out first owes a debt to the winner.
The core gameplay loop has you selecting from an array of similar-looking drinks with different proofs, whereupon Femme picks from the remaining selection. While the one who picks the drinks with the most alcohol content is on their way to losing, Drunken Goddess Reflux adds in elements that shake things up. From stabbing your own hand with an ice pick to reduce your intoxication level to adding more alcoholic drinks to the selection, you and Femme will be shaking and sloshing as you attempt to win.
In addition to Steam Wishlist updates, Femme has been posted some extra content such as teasing quotes and design concepts of herself, with the latter serving as a handy reference for any fan-made creations (such as doujins). Fans can expect more updates from Alliance Arts and Femme as the game nears its release.
Drunken Goddess Reflux is set to release in 2026 for Windows (Steam).
