Platonica Space is a new title directed by Japanese creator Kazuhide Oka, scheduled to lauch in Q3 of 2026.

Kamitsubaki Studio has released a limited-time demo for Platonica Space, a new game directed by Kazuhide Oka – the creator of “Overwhelmingly Positive” indie titles like Natsuno Kanata and Girls Made Pudding

Platonica Space is a 3D psychological exploration game set in “infinite space.” One day, you  wake up in an unfamiliar room having lost your memories. You walk out of the exit only to find yourself in another room, and realize you’re trapped in a seemingly endless maze of interconnected rooms. As you explore the mysterious space, you run into other girls who, just like you, have no idea who they are or how they got here. It turns out, the rooms are built from your memories.

With the objective of escaping the infinite space, gameplay in Platonica Space revolves around exploration and “triggering memories.” You’ll discover various items as you search the game field, and by combining and placing them in specific spots, you’ll gain access to memories. Placing the same item in different locations can yield different memories, and not all of them will be your own, but those of the other girls trapped in the rooms. By sorting through them and figuring out which memories belong to whom, you’ll slowly unravel the mystery. The girls will also offer you hints, although they may or may not be trustworthy.

Of note, Platonica Space comes with a reset mechanic. Each time you fall asleep and wake up again, the layout of the rooms will change together with the positions of items. Sleep is regulated through a Sleepiness gauge, which fills up with every action you take while awake. Since you’ll fall asleep, wake up in a completely unknown space, and lose all your items each time the gauge fills, you’ll need to carefully plan your runs.

Platonica Space’s limited-time demo was released to coincide with Steam Next Fest. The full game is slatet to launch in Q3 of 2026 for PC (Steam).
