Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember releases March 4. Limited-time demo now out

The Alpha Demo showcases part of the Changban stage.

Koei Tecmo announced on September 16 that Team Ninja’s Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember will be released on March 4, 2027 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC (Steam/Microsoft Store). An Alpha Demo is available starting today, and will be playable until September 30.

A standalone sequel to 2023’s Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, Wings of Ember is a high-difficulty action game set in a dark fantasy version of the Thee Kingdoms. The new Alpha Demo lets players experience the game’s take on Chinese martial arts, showcasing part of the Changban stage.

Apart from switching to an open-world design, a big addition Wo Long 2 brings compared to its predecessor are Insight Skills, which enhance the protagonist’s actions. These allow you to stave off and counter enemy attacks, send foes crashing into walls, or slam enemies that strike from above down to the ground. The game also features multiplayer co-op and character creation, which will also be available in the Alpha Demo.
