Umamusume: Pretty Derby and Granblue Fantasy developer Cygames announced its new development brand CygamesEdge on September 3. Additionally, the brand unveiled the trailer for its debut title Where the Seeds Fall, which is set to launch on November 5.
CygamesEdge is a brand specializing in small-to-mid scale development, with the goal to develop and release titles in rapid intervals while also building up its knowledge and expertise in game production.
Its first game, Where the Seeds Fall, is described as a “dramatic collapse action adventure” in which players descend down the World Tree – humanity’s only refuge from the Blight. The game follows the story of a soldier who encounters a “fell child,” an omen of disaster, and vows to bring them to the surface world.
The main story is set to be about 3 hours long, offering a shorter but intense experience. Alongside the main portion of the game, the title also promises high-difficulty maps and many other challenge modes, including a time trial mode.
Where the Seeds Fall is set to release on November 5 for PC (Steam), PlayStation5, and Nintendo Switch 2, with Japanese, English, Chinese (Simplified), Chinese (Traditional) and Korean support.
