Toby Fox namedrops possible new Deltarune character in amusing account of his family’s reactions to Chapter 3 and 4
Deltarune Chapter 3 and 4 have yet to be released, but there are a handful of people outside of the game’s development team who have played them already. These are Toby Fox’s loved ones who, according to Fox, have some choice things to say about one of the minigames in the much-awaited continuation of his episodic game.
While his loved ones’ comments could have been exaggerated in his Bluesky post, Fox knows that fans are eagerly waiting to play Deltarune Chapter 3 and 4. Deltarune Chapter 2 was released in September 2021, which means it’s been almost four years since we last saw Kris and company.
Fox is known for his liberal usage of internet memes, as well as his tongue-in-cheek and self-deprecating humor, which could be why he revealed that his family and friends described his minigame as “a cry for help because his game is not out.”
On a more interesting note, a follow-up post by Fox mentions the name “Tenna” – a character that hasn’t made an in-game appearance, but was mentioned during the Spamton Sweepstakes, which was a twenty-four- hour charity/ auction campaign held on the Deltarune website for the Child’s Play charity on September 17, 2022.
A secret webpage titled https://deltarune.com/d_a_m_n_y_o_u_t_e_n_n_a/ was found, which includes a picture of a television found in Toriel’s house with a red X drawn across it. The text below the image reads as follows:

Fan theories suggest that Tenna will be the main antagonist for Deltarune Chapter 3. While this remains to be seen, Fox openly mentioning Tenna as someone other characters wouldn’t miss in his post could hint at their future appearance.
Deltarune Chapter 3 and 4 are set to be released sometime in 2025.
