Toby Fox confirms new Deltarune chapters for 2025

Undertale developer Toby Fox has just taken to X to confirm that Chapters 3 and 4 of his current project Deltarune will be released sometime in 2025. From the post, it sounds like players can expect the chapters to be available on consoles as well as PC.

Deltarune is the more ambitious episodic sequel to 2015 indie hit Undertale. Toby Fox is the main creative force behind the project, with the artwork done by Temmie Chang (who also did Undertale’s graphics). The first and second chapters of the game were released in 2018 and 2021, respectively, to critical acclaim. However, since then the game has suffered from delays. Judging by all the excited responses to Fox’s announcement on X, many fans are still eagerly awaiting more chapters from Deltarune.

Chapters 1 and 2 of Deltarune are currently available to play for free on PC/Mac (Steam), PS4 and Switch
