Undertale and Deltarune creator Toby Fox revealed that he and his team are preparing a new build of Deltarune Chapter 1 and 2. According to his X account, it will be open for testing from Monday, November 25.

Good evening. We are preparing a new build for DELTARUNE Chapter 1+2 using the latest version of GameMaker LTS.

Starting next Monday, you can help us test if you are interested. (11/25 USA time)

Ideally, there are no changes from the current version.

This new version of the game’s first two parts has been built in the updated version of the game’s engine, GameMaker LTS, which came out in July. Apparently, there will be no differences in the revamped Deltarune Chapter 1 and 2, other than implementation of a new feature that came with GameMaker LTS.

Last month, Toby Fox confirmed that players can expect the much-awaited Chapter 3 and 4 of Deltarune to come out in 2025. On October 11, Fox stated that professional testing of the PC version of Chapter 3 was starting.

The previously released version of Deltarune Chapters 1 and 2 is currently available to play for free on PC/Mac (Steam), PS4 and Switch.
