Snowy post-apocalypse road-trip adventure game Fuyouku announced for 2027. An original project by yuri manga artist Tsukiko Kashiwagi

The story follows the journey of a girl and an android.

Ray’n Studio, a new brand under Sony Music Entertainment, has announced Fuyouku, a road trip adventure game set to release in 2027. The title is based on an original concept and character designs by Tsukiko Kashiwagi, author of the “Even an Introverted Gyaru Wants to Act Tough!” manga series.

Fuyouku is set in a post-apocalyptic Hokkaido in the year 2097. The land is covered in endless slow and no longer boasts the diverse beauty described in old travel guides. The story follows two girls (one of whom is implied to be an android) as they journey “in search of lost memories.”

Karin Otome, a “legendary girl” who awakens from a long sleep, is discovered by Sakina Tsukishiro. Together, they travel across Hokkaido in search of Toma Tsukishiro, Sakina’s older sister and Karin’s longtime friend. Along the way, the two gradually uncover the memories and circumstances behind their journey. The game focuses on travel and emotional storytelling centered on the relationship between the protagonists.

Supported platforms for Fuyouku have not been announced yet, but the game is planned to support English, French, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, and Korean. The developers have also announced that the game will get an official theme song by Hokkaido-based idol group Mitei no Title.

Fuyuoku is scheduled to release in 2027. Further information can be found via the official website and X account.
