SEGA’s major arcade network services down after subsidiary suffers server breach
No leaks related to customers' personal information have been confirmed.

SEGA Fave, a subsidiary of SEGA handling toys and arcades, announced on November 2 that some its servers were hacked by an unauthorized third party. The affected servers are associated with ALL.Net – SEGA’s arcade game service – and Aime, the company’s official arcade card and service system. While it investigates the server breach, SEGA Fave has suspended ALL.Net and Aime services as of November 1 at 6:00 AM UTC, affecting arcades nationwide.
According to SEGA Fave, the initial investigation showed no evidence of information regarding users or business partners being leaked. Payment-related information (including credit card details) has not been leaked or affected, as it is managed on separate servers. SEGA Fave will update the News section of its official webpage once the investigation and security verification have been completed and a decision has been made regarding the resumption of services.
Below are SEGA Fave service still unavailable as of November 2 at 9:00 AM UTC:
- Online gameplay for ALL.Net-compatible titles
- Access to arcade location information on the official websites for ALL.NET- supported games
- Use of .NET services for ALL.Net-compatible games
- Gameplay using Aime
- Gameplay using PrizeON
- SEGA Lucky Kuji Online services
- New SEGA ID registrations
Numerous SEGA arcade machines use ALL.Net to connect to the company’s servers over the internet. Players use their Aime cards at the machines, which contact the servers to bring up information on each individual. Data on in-game scores, ratings, items, and more are retrieved and sent back to the machine, which is updated and sent back to the servers after a play session.
In addition to SEGA Fave arcade games like Initial D The Arcade and Maimai DX CiRCLE PLUS being temporarily unplayable, Bandai Namco titles such as Taiko no Tatsujin and Idolmaster TOURS, which use ALL.Net’s network infrastructure, have also been affected.
