Resonance of Fate’s Leanne suddenly checks in with fans on X after 8 years of silence. Official gimmick account reactivates together with Enhanced Remaster announcement
Zephyr and Vashyron remain inactive for now.

Following Tri-Ace’s announcement of an “Enhanced Remaster” DLC for Resonance of Fate 4K/HD Edition on October 29, the official X account for female protagonist Leanne suddenly posted an in-character update after eight years of inactivity.
Testing, testing.
Am I getting through?
Hehe, since it’s been a while, I’m feeling a little nervous.
Have you all been well?
The original Resonance of Fate was released for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in 2010. Three X (formerly Twitter) accounts were created for the game’s three protagonists, namely Zephyr, Vashyron, and Leanne. In addition to posting about their everyday fictional lives, the characters would promote the game in humorous ways, such as making fun of Tri-Ace’s penchant for making good games but not promoting them very well. While the accounts were inactive from 2011-2017, all three briefly returned to posting in 2018, when they promoted the release of Resonance of Fate 4K/HD Edition.
As of writing, Zephyr’s and Vashyron’s accounts remain inactive. The official Resonance of Fate X account also hasn’t posted any updates, with its last post dated February 22, 2019. Amidst this, the sudden update from Leanne has caused much excitement among Japanese fans, with many hoping to see more banter from the account.

Resonance of Fate 4K/HD Edition’s “Enhanced Remaster” DLC expands the game’s graphics options, including native 4K support, HDR, and 120 FPS. Character and environment textures have also been upscaled. In terms of gameplay, a new 2x game speed feature alleviates some of the tedium and allows you to play the game at a faster pace. The DLC (which is now available) costs $9.99 USD.
Resonance of Fate 4K/HD Edition is available on Windows (Steam), as well as PlayStation 4 and 5.
