Resident Evil Requiem gets free post-launch demo for all platforms

Three months following its launch, Resident Evil Requiem now has a free demo that lets you try out the game's early gameplay.

Though Capcom went on record to say that Resident Evil Requiem would not be getting a public demo before its official launch, it never mentioned anything about releasing one afterward. Exactly three months after the game’s release, the latest entry in the highly acclaimed survival horror franchise lets players experience the beginning of Grace Ashcroft and Leon Kennedy’s adventure on all platforms.

The Requiem demo covers “part of the game’s early stages,” and save data cannot be carried over to the full release. Series fans may remember the Dirty Coin item that can be found in the Resident Evil 7 Teaser Demo: Beginning Hour and carried over to the full game. Unfortunately, there are no such unlockables in the Requiem demo.

Both Resident Evil Requiem and its demo are available on Windows (Steam), PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, and Xbox Series X|S.
