Palworld’s big update introduces first Raid Boss Bellanoir, other new content
PocketPair released an update for the PC (Steam) version of Palworld today. Version 0.2.0.6 introduces a new Raid Boss mechanic, as well as a whole host of new items and improvements. The update will also be available for Xbox One/Xbox Series S|X players in the near future.
The open-world survival game’s latest update introduces the game’s first Raid Boss, Bellanoir. Unlike regular Pals, raid bosses are super powerful and cannot be captured. Instead, the player must summon them by placing a slab on the Summoning Altar. Defeated Raid Bosses may drop Pal Eggs that you can use to hatch a new Pal. It seems that PocketPair will periodically introduce new Raid Bosses to the game, with the strongest ones said to be so difficult to defeat that they can be considered “endgame-stage.”
The new patch also gives players handy new accessories and items- such as the Ancient Technical Manual, which provides you with ancient technology points, and the Homeward Thundercloud, which can instantly fast-travel you to your nearest base. The update also brings new buildings to construct – an Ore Mining Site that lets you produce ore on your base and an Electric Egg Incubator to help you perfectly hatch your Pals. Characteristics of some Pals have also been adjusted. You can now raise the rank of an individual Pal to the max with a single synthesis using the Pal Essence Condenser.
Pals sometimes go on a break when you don’t want them to, but the patch gives you a violent way of rectifying this. You can now throw slacking Pals towards a facility to make them get back to work.
Improvements have also been made to make the UI more intuitive, as well as adjustments to building mechanics to make it easier to construct your dream base. PocketPair has also made some balance adjustments and bug fixes. For more details, check out the patch notes here.
Apparently, Palworld players can look forward to an even larger, content-packed update this Summer.
Palworld is available in early access for the PC (Steam), Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.

The Ore Farm is a much needed QOL because that can take forever to just have to keep smelting Ore to make other things in the game. The only issue left is that requirements for High Polymer and Rare Ingots are high. Other than that the game is perfect to go back to now.
