Otomate, Idea Factory’s otome game label, has announced its new title Shinso no Doppelt: Kagachi Kaoru Kurosagiri no Shiigoto. Set in a Western-style mansion during Showa 22 (1947 by the Western calendar), the retro romance visual novel follows a group of male suitors trying to win the hand of a young lady.
The central theme of the game is “false love,” where the cast participates in “games” of love and deception. Four suitors’ names have been confirmed so far: Tsuguo Koinowa, Kyoshiro Rokuei, Kageomi Gyosenji, and Shogo Migiri.
The game is directed by Aoki Hiroe (Sympathy Kiss, Lover Pretend), with Ninomae Joe serving as assistant director. Makoto Senzaki, a concept art and costume design artist on Fate/Grand Order and an illustrator on the free-to-play collectible card browser game Bungo and Alchemist, is providing the character designs.
