Silver Studio and Elementa have opened applications for a new closed beta technical test of their upcoming open-world detective RPG, Silver Palace. Those interested have until October 10 at 10 AM UTC to complete a recruitment survey.
Accepted applicants will have a chance to play a test version of the game on their platform of choice (Windows, Android, and iOS). Those who had access to the “Dichotomy” Beta Test still need to complete the recruitment survey and provide additional information, but will immediately have access to the technical test once the prerequisite steps have been completed.
The “Dichotomy: Retrace” Technical Test will be nearly identical to the previous “Dichotomy” Beta Test version that took place from July to August. Players will be able to use the male version of the protagonist and explore a portion of Sylvania, a Victorian-inspired metropolis set during the third year of Queen Feliana’s reign.
The purpose of the upcoming technical test is to “refine and polish” Silver Palace’s gameplay experience, which involves investigating crime scenes, solving mysteries, and engaging in fast-paced, third-person combat. As a disclaimer, the devs have stated that content in the technical test is not representative of the final game. Likewise, in-game purchases are not available and data will be wiped once the test is over.
Silver Palace is currently in development for Windows (Epic Games Store), Android, iOS, and PlayStation 5. Registration for the upcoming Dichotomy: Retrace Technical Test is open until October 10 at 10 AM UTC.
